1 Getting Started

Use the Bluetooth headset to liberate the experience. You just insert the headset into your ear, instead of placing your phone next to your ear. It keeps her hands free, it’s not just handy – it’s also a safer way to use your phone while driving.

In order to use the Bluetooth headset, you need to support Bluetooth smartphone (such as iPhone). You also need a comfortable headset. 2 Turn the iPhone’s Bluetooth Function On

Before pairing your iPhone with a Bluetooth headset, you must turn on your iPhone’s Bluetooth feature. To do this, you can open the iPhone’s Settings menu and scroll down to the “General” setting option.

After entering the regular settings, you will see the Bluetooth option near the middle of the screen. It will say “off” or “open”. If it turns off, open the icon by opening / closing it.

3 Put Your Bluetooth Headset in Pairing Mode

When you open them for the first time, many earphones automatically enter pairing mode. So the first thing you want to try is to open the headset, which is usually done by pressing the button.

If you have previously used headphones and want to pair it with a new phone, you may need to manually open the pairing mode. To activate the pairing mode on the Jawbone Prime, you need to make sure the headset is turned off. Then press and hold the “Talk” button and the “NoiseAssassin” button for four seconds until you see the small light flashing red and white.

To activate the pairing mode on BlueAnt Q1 that supports voice commands, put the headset in the ear and say “match”.

Keep in mind that all Bluetooth headsets work slightly differently, so you may need to consult the manual that came with the product you purchased.

4 Pair Bluetooth Headset with your IPhone

Once the headset is in pairing mode, your iPhone should “find” it. On the Bluetooth settings screen, you will see the name of the headset displayed under the device list.

You click on the name of the headset and the iPhone will connect to it.

You may be asked to enter your PIN; if so, the headset manufacturer should provide the number you need. Once you have entered the correct PIN, the iPhone and Bluetooth headset will be paired.

Now you can start using headphones.

5 Make Calls Using Your Bluetooth Headset

To make a call using the Bluetooth headset, simply dial the phone number. (If you are using a headset that accepts voice commands, you can dial by voice).

After entering the number, your iPhone will show you a list of options. You can choose to use the Bluetooth headset, iPhone or iPhone speakers to make calls.

Click the Bluetooth headset icon and the call will be sent there. Now you should connect.

You can end the call using the button on the headset or by clicking the “End call” button on the iPhone screen.

6 Accept Calls Using Your Bluetooth Headset

When your iPhone enters the phone, you can answer directly from the Bluetooth headset by pressing the corresponding button.

Most Bluetooth headsets have a main button designed for this purpose and should be easy to find. On the BlueAnt Q1 headset (as shown), you can press the round button on the ant icon. If you are not sure which button you should be on, please refer to the product manual.

You can end the call using the button on the headset or by clicking the “End call” button on the iPhone screen.
